Life Coaching
A therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool to assist you in coping with. I recognize the unfortunate reality that personal challenges, loss, disappointments, and tragedies can occur at every stage of life. Individuals pursue counseling for multiple reasons, including depression, anxiety, grief, low self-worth/esteem, destructive behaviors, emotional volatility, relationship problems, and other issues. A therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool to help you cope with both short-term and chronic, life-interrupting problems.
At Renewed Foundation, I believe that you were uniquely created to achieve greatness with your life. The pursuit of a meaningful and purpose-driven life is often interrupted by negative personal beliefs, negative experiences, trauma, and unexpected circumstances. It is not uncommon during certain seasons of life to feel alone or a lack of control over our circumstances. You may feel ‘stuck’ or ‘hopeless’ and believe that change is impossible.
The good news is that you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. It is my belief that we are relational beings and that moving through tough times is best done when other people are involved in the process. I view every person as unique with distinctive backgrounds, goals, and perspectives. I have made it my mission to partner with individuals at any stage of life who feel they need a helping hand and a safe place to grow.

Not everyone in need of counseling services is in crisis or has a severe mental health issue. At Renewed Foundation we recognize that not everyone in need of counseling services is in crisis or has a severe mental health problem. For those that feel like they are doing ‘okay’ but desire additional guidance or tools to increase their quality of life a coaching relationship may be appropriate.
Most people experience coaching in different ways throughout life whether it be in sports, school, creative arts, etc. We believe that coaching is equally necessary to develop your mental, emotional, and spiritual self as it is necessary to improve your sports performance, academics, etc.
One guiding assumption of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) is that we are doing the best we can in the moment but that we can always do better. Following this assumption we assist our clients to understand themselves better and equip them with simple tools to improve relationships, increase self-confidence, clarify life goals, and determine best next life steps.
